Luke 24:1–6, NIV
“On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb… but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus… ‘Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!'”
But on the third day
Easter is not just a holiday—it’s the heart of the Christian faith. On Good Friday, hope seemed lost. Jesus was crucified. The disciples scattered. The world went dark. But on the third day, something miraculous happened: the tomb was empty. The resurrection of Jesus is not just a moment in history; it is the dawn of new hope for all humanity. It means that sin does not have the final word. Death is not the end. Despair is not our destiny. When the angel said, “He is not here; He has risen,” he declared that God’s power is greater than our pain, and His promises are stronger than our fears. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us today.
- No situation is too dead for Our Heavenly Father to ressurrect
- There is eternal hope in forgiveness, for healing and a new begining
- We are not alone-Jesus lives, and He walks with us and works through us.
Amen!
