Join us at Spirit Life Church for worship every Sunday at 11 AM...

Worship is an act of sacrifice, where we offer up ourselves as living beings in obedience and humility. It is a loyal service from the heart that draws us closer to the Lord. In Romans 12:1-2, worship is described as a spiritual service that goes beyond entertainment and emotional responses.

Why We Worship At Spirit Life Church

The Hebrew word for sacrifice, “qorban,” signifies an offering brought forward. This sheds light on the historical significance of offerings like the Lamb in the Old Testament and how true worship is linked to holiness.

Service, like Jesus Christ exemplified, is about being a servant to others. Following His example leads us from a passive to an active voice in our worship. It is not about showcasing talents or religious ceremonies, but rather about genuine devotion and service to God.

In conclusion, worship involves sacrifice, service, and a deep connection to the Lord. It is a spiritual act that goes beyond outward appearances and focuses on true devotion from the heart. Let us follow the example set by Jesus Christ and serve others in humility and love.

I was born and raised as a Roman Catholic in Ireland. At age 19 years I traveled to UK and while there I experienced a deeper understanding of my relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Later when I was living in USA, I received the baptism of the holy Spirit and encountered God's power. From there He sent me home to Ireland with the song of St Patrick, "Christ be beside me". Also the scriptures, Psalm 91, a Psalm of god's protection and Isaiah 43, "Behold I am doing a new thing."

My testimony for the Spirit Life Church: I moved to the west of Ireland from London, the nearest church was 29km away. I prayed for a local Spirit filled church in Tuam that I could cycle to and my prayer was answered when a man was called to Tuam in a vision like St Patrick. The family moved to Tuam and started a Spirit filled church in the city. May God's kingdom come to Tuam!

At 26, while at college a classmate introduced the gospel to the me, sparking curiosity. I learned salvation is a gift from God and gave my heart to Jesus. A year later, I suffered from a mental and emotional breakdown and was hospitalised for a period of time. In 1991, I found a church in Tuam that taught the word of God meaningfully. Over time, the power of the word brought peace, allowing me to find genuine health and stability. I returned to college in 2005 and earned a degree in horticulture, now running my own business.
